A little geographic logic can remove hours of unnecessary backtracking. The useful way to decide is to look at the actual logistics, what you want to learn or experience, and what the current listing includes for your date.
Cluster city days
Put attractions in the same part of the city together when possible. The metro helps, but crossing the valley repeatedly still consumes time.
Keep rural days separate
Guatapé, coffee farms and other countryside experiences deserve their own time blocks. Do not treat a full-day excursion as a warm-up before a packed city night.
Use your lodging as a starting constraint
A 7 a.m. meeting point feels different from Laureles than from El Poblado. Transportation to the departure point is part of the itinerary.
Leave one movable block
Keep at least one half-day flexible for weather, energy or something you discover after arrival. That is often more useful than a fifth prepaid tour.
